This is embarrassing. I just noticed that the last time I posted here was exactly 3 weeks ago. Yikes! I am so sorry about that. To redeem myself, I thought I’d write a post about what I’m doing right now – on the work-at-home front. So here’s a list of “business” stuff I’ve been and [...]

This is embarrassing. I just noticed that the last time I posted here was exactly 3 weeks ago. Yikes! I am so sorry about that.

To redeem myself, I thought I’d write a post about what I’m doing right now – on the work-at-home front. So here’s a list of “business” stuff I’ve been and am currently working on right now:

1. Mass Control Course – I am finally wrapping up going through this course! I’ve gone through the course itself and am now going through the bonus DVD about “Crowd Control”. Oooh, doesn’t that sound so intriguing? Well, Frank Kern is an expert at that. I can only wish that some of that wit and genius will rub off on me! Anyway, my weekly review of this course will be coming up in future posts.

2. The She Factor Course – I am slowly working my way through Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero’s The She Factor Marketing System, which I received as a Christmas gift. My strategy is to watch the DVDs during lunch. (DS is getting his marketing lessons early in life!)

3. Client work – I recently began working with Alice Seba as a paid intern for her Affiliate Management service. Wow! I have been admiring Alice Seba from afar since I began investigating ways to work from home through the Internet. Working with her is like having five clients all at once! So I have decided to stop taking on any new assignments. Aside from Alice, I have a handful of other clients who have booked my services earlier in the year. I am focusing on them because I am also working on my …

4. Infoproduct Business – I finished writing my very first information product early last month, and it is ready to go on sale. Now if I can just finish writing the sales letter for it! It will be up for sale at a very special discounted price beginning Mother’s Day – but don’t let me spoil the fun. I’ll keep the details under wraps until the time is right. So as I said, I am now working on finalizing the sales page. I am also wrapping my brain around my online shopping cart, affiliate program and all the other stuff that goes with selling online.

5. Earth Day Giveaway – A number of sponsors approached me offering to send me their products for review, and this inspired me to organize an Earth Day Giveaway for the readers and subscribers of the Natural Moms Blog. I have 19 prizes to give away, all in all. I thought I’d have some fun and made the contest a “multi-media” one, where people can participate in three ways: through the blog; through the newsletter; and, through Twitter. What I hadn’t realized was the amount of work required in having a giveaway. For the Twitter part, I used Brad Fallon’s Twiveaway, a free online tool that makes giving stuff away on Twitter super easy. But because of the complexity of my giveaway, I had to monitor three sources of participants and pick my winners more or less equally among them. Nevertheless, it is soo much fun to give stuff away! In spite of all the work, I’ll definitely be doing this again.

So now you understand why I haven’t had much time and energy for this blog and my other blogs. Hey, I’m not complaining! Do you think I have too much on my plate? Have I bitten of more than I can chew?

Well, I do need to get more sleep. But I think there’s a way for me to get even more things done, or get all this done and catch up on some sleep, too. That’s material for another blog post. If you have any suggestions, do let me know.
